A parable is a story that contains a moral lesson. With a partner, adapt one of the Zen parables you've read into a modern version that an audience of your peers can relate to. The setting and situation should be modern without losing the original moral of the parable. For example, you could adapt "The Taste of Banzo's Sword" by making Banzo a basketball coach who teaches his students by throwing balls at them when they least expect it.
