Choose a passage from the Tao Te Ching (one we have not already read in class) and compose a 2-3 paragraph essay in which you examine the following:
1. What do you find wise, helpful or useful in this passage? What is the message that the writer wishes to convey to the reader? What wisdom does the Master intend to teach to the student? Finally, how is it relevant to your life? Be as specific as possible and include specific examples from the passage and from your life.
2. Place your passage on a one-slide powerpoint presentation in Google Drive, and add some images to the slide. Bonus points will be awarded to students who are willing to share their Taoist passages to the class.
